Samia Shoman

Role: Principal - La Directora

Since 1999, Dr. Samia Shoman has spent her career as a teacher and now administrator committed to social justice and the education of multilingual learners. As a credentialed Social Science teacher and administrator, she strongly believes we all have a responsibility to make our communities and the world we live in a better place and that education is one key way to doing that. Part of Samia’s 16 years in the classroom included 11 years at Hillsdale High School. In addition to teaching at the secondary level, she has taught multiple classes at the university level and coached soccer for her entire career. Samia holds a B.A in Political Science and Minor in Spanish from UC Davis, a Masters of Education from San Francisco State University, and a Doctorate of Education, Organization and Leadership from the University of San Francisco.
